Overview
PawPaw is a Chrome extension that helps users upload a document and use it as a source of truth to populate form fields with relevant data. It may use AI (including OpenAI GPT) to extract and format information from the user-provided document to assist with form completion.
Data We Collect
We do not collect personal data.
- No account or login is required.
- We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, or identifiers.
- We do not sell data.
- We do not use analytics or tracking cookies for the extension.
User Documents and Content
Documents you upload are processed only to extract the information needed to populate the form you are working on.
- Your document content is not stored by PawPaw on our servers.
- Your document remains under your control on your device and in your browser context.
AI Processing (OpenAI GPT)
To provide the core functionality, PawPaw may send relevant portions of the user-provided document and/or form context to an AI service provider (such as OpenAI) to generate structured outputs used to fill the form.
- Only the minimum necessary content is sent to perform the requested task.
- We do not use the content to identify you.
- We do not keep logs of your document content.
Use of third-party AI services is subject to the provider’s terms and policies. If you prefer not to use AI processing, do not use the extension features that require it.
Form Data
PawPaw fills form fields on your behalf based on your document. We do not collect or store the form data you enter or that the extension populates.
Cookies and Tracking
PawPaw does not use cookies or tracking technologies inside the extension.
Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade user data. Content may be transmitted to an AI provider only to deliver the feature you requested (as described above).
Data Retention
We do not store user documents or extracted data on our servers. Any transient processing required to perform the request is not retained by PawPaw.
Security
We aim to minimize data exposure by sending only what is necessary for processing. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Children’s Privacy
PawPaw is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
